AnxietyIt’s completely normal to feel anxious about various life events—like moving to a new place or starting a new job. While it may be uncomfortable, anxiety is a natural part of life and can even serve as a motivator. Everyday anxiety tends to come and go and usually doesn’t disrupt your daily routine. However, when feelings of fear become intense or constant, and start affecting your well-being, that’s a sign it may be time to reach out for support.
PTSDAcute stress disorder is a short-term reaction to a traumatic event, with symptoms that show up between three days and one month after it happens. Like PTSD, it can involve flashbacks, nightmares, and feeling numb or disconnected. These symptoms can seriously disrupt daily life. Around half of those who experience acute stress disorder eventually develop PTSD.

DepressionAnxiety can also lead to depression, or may be accompanying it. While both anxiety and depression can occur separately, it’s not unusual for these conditions to happen together.
Symptoms of both conditions can be managed with many of the same treatments: psychotherapy (counseling), medications, and lifestyle changes. My personal belief is that therapy should be the first port of call before medication, although in some cases, medication may be necessary. RelationshipCouples therapy helps partners recognise and work through conflict. The goal is to support honest decisions—whether that means rebuilding the relationship, strengthening it, or choosing to separate. It’s often short-term and usually involves both partners, though sometimes one person works with the therapist on their own. The approach depends on the couple’s unique situation. |

For over 30 years, I’ve helped guide people through life’s toughest moments. Like many, I’ve taken some hard hits myself. Life was just “okay” until it fell apart in ways I never expected. I spent years battling PTSD. In the middle of that struggle, I turned to psychology—not just to understand what was happening, but to find a way forward.
What I learned didn’t just help me survive. It helped me live again. It became my mission to pass on the tools. I use a range of proven techniques—from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Techniques, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness. I don’t believe healing has to take forever. Sometimes, all it takes is a few minutes to change direction. I work with individuals and couples who are stuck, hurting, or just trying to find their way back to each other. Whether it’s old trauma resurfacing, constant fights, emotional distance, or something you can’t quite name, then I’m here to walk through it with you, but honestly, the goal is simple—it's to help you tap into the strength you already have, even if it feels buried right now. Real change doesn’t always take months. Sometimes, it starts in a single conversation. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m ready to help. Book online here. |
